It's been a tough month as my husband and I were just told by our son who is finishing high school that he is gay. I am sure there are others out there who have dealt with all the emotions we are. Our greatest fear is how hard life may be for him. Don't we all want to save our children from pain? He is transitioning to college and the whole roommate selection process scares all of us.
